The Dome

Here is the golden domed roof. Unfortunately, the Bradford weather has turned it from a bright to a dull shade of gold. At the top of the dome is the symbol of Islam - the crescent moon. Long ago the moon and stars guided travellers, so the moon is a symbol of guidance. It still indicates the start of every month in the Islamic calendar.
