Primary Transition - Year 6-7

Welcome to hAMILTON sCHOOL - The First Step of the Journey

We are delighted that your child will be joining us in September! We will shortly begin preparing for our induction afternoons in July 2025 so that we can greet our new students in person, and give them a small taster of what their time at Hamilton will be like! 

Liaison with Primary Schools

Our transition team has begun liaising with primary schools to arrange for us to visit your child’s current class teacher so that we can begin the process of getting to know each of our students as individuals. Where possible, we’ll be arranging home visits to the pupils who will be joining us, too.

Year 7 Transition day

On Wednesday 2 July  we will be holding an information evening and barbecue for our parents.   More information about this event will be sent to parents in due course.

We will certainly keep you informed and up-to-date about the transition process; we are looking forward to meeting you and your child soon!
